I have begun a career in publishing as a Senior Editorial Assistant with SAGE Publishing. I have gained publishing experience through my work as an Editorial Assistant for SAGE, as well as from an editorial internship for Tsehai Publishers and the Marymount Institute Press. I am currently working with academic journals, primarily those owned by medical societies.
I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
I am also passionate about children's and young adult literature, and I completed a senior thesis within this genre called "Characters Through Time" to understand how children's books are impacted by classical texts. I love to read fantasy novels and Medieval through Victorian British literature. I also love to cook, bake, and watch film adaptations of my favorite novels.
